Here are some Slap Bass exercises that focus on basic Thumb Pop principles. These exercises are mainly focused on the double strike with the Thumb and how they can be approached in different rhythm groupings.

The Most important aspect of practicing slap lines is to focus 100% of timing. Practice these lines with a metronome and begin at slow speeds. Some time these lines are harder to practice at very slow tempo’s but if done will enhance your inner clock.
